Last week my friend finished cabinet #2. Unfortunately I don't think the process of creating this cabinet was any easier. Not only are our walls not straight neither is our ceiling. Go figure. That, of course, made it much more difficult to cut out the large face frame. None the less, he made it look great!

Here are the process shots:

I really am seeing my vision come together and I'm only more excited for the next step; the custom refrigerator cabinet. Unfortunately for me, I will have to wait until the beginning of next year, once the weather warms up again. At least that gives Mr. Handyman plenty of time to figure out the best plan of action when it comes to building the final, most monstrous and complex, cabinet.

Here's a few shots of the kitchen as a whole right now. I love panoramic shots but the distortion in this photo really makes the newest cabinet look taller. The second shot is a bit better, just ignore the pup and sleeping husband haha.

While the kitchen plans may be on hold, it means I can refocus on other easier indoor projects. Honestly I rather focus on projects to get my mind off of the honeymoon we had to cancel/hopefully postpone because of hotel problems! Stay tuned for the next project. I still need to finish my posts about the master bath and the guest bedroom projects completed in 2017 before the new year arrives.
